Request Zoom Access

We will respond during office hours M-Th 9am - 2pm MST.

It is our honor to celebrate baptisms and weddings with you as well as to accompany you during times of loss. In each instance, it is a privilege to be invited into your deeply personal expressions of celebration and farewell. As a parishioner, you are most welcome to seek the guidance of Chapel of Our Saviour clergy and staff in planning a wedding, a baptism, or a loved one’s funeral.

Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals

  • Holy Baptism is the sacrament that initiates an individual—adult, child, or infant—into the Christian faith, a member of the Body of Christ. The baptism service, including the vows, may be found on page 299 of The Book of Common Prayer.

We hope you will share with us news of a birth in your family so that we can celebrate with you and yours! Please share your happy news via the “contact us” button below and we will look forward to connecting with you.

    PLEASE NOTE

At least one parent of a child being baptized is invited to be a member of Chapel of our Saviour.

Those seeking baptism for their children are required to attend preparatory meetings with the rector.

Adults who wish to be baptized at Chapel of our Saviour are invited to become a member of our church.

  • According to our Christian faith, in marriage, each individual—both separately and together—transforms and matures in God's presence and image. A wedding, then, is a sacred ritual that acknowledges and celebrates your desire to enter a lifelong relationship. Your marriage is a sacrament—an outward and visible sign of God's grace bringing you together and nurturing your love.

WHO MAY BE MARRIED AT CHAPEL OF OUR SAVIOUR?

Any member of Chapel of Our Saviour may be married here. The sacrament of marriage at Chapel is fully open to same-gender couples. If you would like to be married here but are not yet a member, contact the Parish Life Minister or use the form via the “contact us” button below, so that you may begin that process.

    SCHEDULING WEDDINGS

Weddings may be held anytime throughout the year except during Holy Week, the first week of Easter, the final week of Advent, and on any major secular holiday weekend. Weddings are rarely celebrated during the penitential season of Lent. Please note that we are able to schedule weddings with at least six months notice and no more than 18 months in advance. Premarital counseling is required of all couples.

  • Funerals at chapel of our Saviour are best understood as "Easter" liturgies—grounded in the hope of new and eternal life to come. As with baptisms and weddings, these services follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. To begin the process of planning a funeral, we ask that the death of a member of Chapel of our Saviour be reported to the parish office as soon as possible and that the family meet with the parish clergy immediately. Please note that no final plans should be made or service dates publicized before this consultation. Contact the Parish Life Minister’s office to coordinate securing the date and time of the service.

We at Chapel of our Saviour are eager to support all grieving families with prayer and every presence we can safely and faithfully provide.
